Candidates who complete their Diploma/ ITI in relevant field are eligible to apply for this job. The selection will be based on the written test. Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

For Assistant Foreman (E&T/Mechanical) (Trainee):

-> Matriculate or equivalent examination passed from any recognized Board of examination and

-> Diploma or relevant and higher qualification (Minimum 3-year course) in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering from an institute recognized by the Government.

Technician Positions

Technician (Trainee) Cat. III/II:>

-> Matriculate or equivalent examination passed from any recognized Board of examination and

ITI (2 year course) in relevant trade along with trade certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT and minimum 1 year Apprenticeship Training Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT under The Apprentices Act, 1961.

-> Relevant Trade: Fitter/ Electrician/ Turner/ Machinist/ Welder

Age Limit (as on 25.08.2020): 18 to 30 years

Upper age limit relaxable by:

-> SC/ST: 5 years
-> (NCL): 3 years
-> PwBD – 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
-> ESM: Actual period of service rendered in defence services +3 years

Post Wise Vacancies:

-> Assistant Foreman (E&T) (Trainee) Grade C – 07 Posts
-> Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) (Trainee) Grade C – 72 Posts
-> Technician Fitter (Trainee) Cat. III – 149 Posts
-> Technician Electrician (Trainee) Cat. III – 174 Posts
-> Technician Turner (Trainee) Cat. III – 19 Posts
-> Technician Machinist (Trainee) Cat. III – 08 Posts
-> Technician Welder (Trainee) Cat. II – 83 Posts

Entry Level Grade & Pay Scale:

-> Assistant Foreman (Trainee) Grade C – Rs.31,852.56/- per month
-> Technician (Trainee) Cat. III – Rs 1,065.55/- per day
-> Technician Welder (Trainee) Cat. II – Rs.1,034.04/- per day

NCL Recruitment Selection Process:

-> Selection will be based on the written test.

Scheme of written test:

-> Written test will be conducted separately for each post.
-> The Written test will comprise of objective type questions with 4 choices of answer
-> Question booklet (in Hindi/English) will be provided along with a separate OMR sheet, at the start of written examination
-> The test will be of 100 Marks for 90 minutes duration
-> Two parts: Part A for 70 marks of technical sections pertaining to the relevant post and Part B for 30 marks of general
-> There will be no negative marking for any wrong answer.

Minimum cut-off marks to qualify in the merit list:

Cut-Off Marks : UR/EWS – 50 marks & SC/ ST/ ESM/ OBC-NCL/PwBD – 40 marks
